Why the Triangle Area Will Pull Out of the Recession First

Published by htaylor at 12:28 pm under economy Edit This

I knew when I moved here a year and a half ago it was a good choice. I still think that. Sure this area has it’s share of foreclosures, lay offs, and business closings.  What I still have yet to see disappear is opportunity. I see it everywhere I go in the Triangle area.

Yeah we’ve had our share of big stores closing shop, but there is still tremendous growth in the area.  New stores are being built everyday. New office buildings are going up.  More parking garages to accommadate all the people who will work and shop in these buildings.

The triangle area has had massive amounts of people moving to the area for years. It may have slowed up, but it’s not anywhere near stopping.  New people means new apartments and houses are being built to shelter them.  These people would not come here if there was no work to be found.  We have the research triangle providing many jobs in the technological and medical fields. We have more shopping centers and strip malls sprouting up.

We in the Triangle area will proudly lead this country on it’s way out of the recession with our heads held high!
